Dear Beloved in Christ,

 
We are the first Tamil church in Europe. Over our 38 years of service we have helped to plant 15 churches across the UK, but despite this we sadly do not have a church building of our own. 
 
Recently, we were able to find a church building currently belonging to United Reform Church, which is available for sale. The building has all the facilities we need, and more mportantly it is situated in the heart of Newham. This is the perfect location for us to support and serve the local South Asian community. However, the building is estimated to cost around £2.5 million and we are not in a position to fund this entirely by ourselves.

 

We are very reluctant to give up the opportunity to buy this building as we believe that it would be an ideal church building for us and the local community. As a Tamil congregation, we have been searching for a place to call our own for a very long time. Therefore, finding a building like this one is extremely rare.  

 

We are therefore requesting your humble support in purchasing this building. Your support in this regard would be greatly appreciated and many members of our community will be positively impacted by this. May God bestow His grace and favour upon you.

As a family, it’s time for us to come together to build God’s church. We need to unite in prayer, stand together and give generously so that we can build the Kingdom of God.
